What should I do if I get a program error?Always select the ignore option so that you stay in the program. From the equipment screen, go to the word FILE and select REINDEX...Recreate All Indexes. Exit the program and start VOC-CALC back up. If error continues, call support. Back to TopIs the program Y2K compliant?Version 3.0 and later are Y2K compliant. There is a known error when selecting the date, where the day of the week is wrong. As long as you use the calendar for selecting the day for both daily usage entries and printing date ranges, you will not have a problem. A fix is on the way. Back to TopHow do I backup the program?Simply copy the entire contents of the voc-calc directory to either a back tape or device, or to another directory on your computer (ie: voc-bak). Back to TopCan I open the DBF (database) files with another program?NO and yes. We do not recommend this. Database corruption can occur. They can be opened in programs such as Excel or Access. If you would like to open a dbf file in another program, first make a copy of the file you wish to open, and open the copy. Back to TopI still have problems with Y2K in version 3.x?In version 3.0 to 3.23 it is necessary to make a settings change. From the equipment screen within the program, click on the word FILE, then ENVIRONMENT. A box will open, under Calendar select ONLY. This will prevent the user from accidentally selecting a date in the 1900's for Daily Usage entries or printing of reports. Back to TopWhen is ... ?[This is the answer to the question.] Back to Top
